My Services
There are 2 types of work I do with students.
1) Private Computer Science & Coding Classes
I am now offering lessons in computer science and coding to students as young as Middle Schoolers.
This is a very unique and impactful offering. Since I provide my own CS/coding content tailored to the individual, the student does not need to be enrolled in any other course in order to make major strides in their computer science / coding skills, as well as their overall passion for STEM.
That makes this a very powerful boost for both kids who are already nailing every STEM subject and want to keep flying ahead of school, as well as kids who struggle in their academic performance but who clearly have a passion for and an interest for STEM that should be nurtured. This can really make a difference in instilling self-confidence, the drive to keep going despite those day to day frustrations--basically, the grit needed to succeed at any part of life.
Conceptual Content is case by case and includes web development, game development, mobile robotics, A.I., and in some cases an intro to Machine Learning. Languages are also case by case but tend to include: Python, Javascript, HTML, CSS.
I can do one off sessions of 1-2 hours, fill a few lazy summer days with an impactful and motivating window into CS, or do regular weekly meetings that build over time and are tailored to the interests of the student as they emerge. Contact me to set up a quick consultation.
2) Regular Tutoring
Regular tutoring for grade school, high school, college, and graduate students, in all Academic subjects, as well as all Standardized Test subjects. In my regular tutoring work, I am teaching to a certain goal of succeeding at a specific class / test (as opposed to my tailored private teaching described above) . Academic Tutoring for grade school, high school, college, and graduate students.
STEM is the focus of my tutoring work mainly because of the demand for my level of STEM expertise in a tutor. However, Academic Tutoring is available in all subjects.

Elementary School Students
My preference for this age is in person tutoring (not virtual).
Middle School Students
In person and virtual sessions available.
High School Students
My preference for this level / age is to work over zoom.
College and Graduate Students
My preference for this level is over zoom. Rates vary with difficulty/obscurity.
Standardized Test Prep: HS, College, Grad
SAT, ACT, and GMAT. My preference for this type of work is over zoom. Email or text to set up a consultation.
A Note on College & Grad Level Services:
If I do not know a given subject yet myself, I will essentially take the class alongside you (no extra charge for studying I do on my own time).
I know that there are not many people that can help students with STEM topics beyond a certain level of difficulty (particularly true of very advanced Math and Computer Science subjects).
These scenarios are exactly my cup of tea. I enjoy being the TA I wish I had in college and grad school
